Magnus, Senior Laboratory Engineer

Magnus joined Perstorp in 1987 and have spent almost his whole career within the company. Ever since the start in the production of thermoset plastics at Site Perstorp and along the road to his present role as a Senior Laboratory Engineer, Magnus has always stayed curious and creative in his work. Actively participating in solving problems and taking on challenges with determination and a positive mindset is what has kept his motivation going during all these years.

Maybe this is also why he enjoys his current position so much as he gets to visit customers, listen to their needs and develop new innovative products and applications together with his colleagues. For example, the efforts of Magnus and his team have resulted in the development of seven different patents within 3D-printing and bioplastics, an achievement that makes him proud but also motivated to take on the next challenge.

"I believe in the Perstorp vision and our ambition to become Finite Material Neutral. Being able to work for a more sustainable future and develop environmentally friendly products, resonates with my own beliefs and conscience."

Magnus lives in Perstorp with his family and has a huge interest in sports, especially golf. He explains how much health matters to him and how the many benefits Perstorp offers helps him maintain a healthy lifestyle, such as allowing access to gym facility at Site Perstorp, practicing mindfulness at meetings and that they even have a yoga room at his department!
